If you want to find out but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving will let you try scuba to see if you like it. It is an extremely popular activity and while it is not an actual scuba certification, during the Discover Scuba Diving experience you’ll learn first a bit of diving theory followed by the use of scuba equipment in shallow water, after which you will be able to get an easy introduction to exploring the underwater world. We have to warn you ; you may never be happy on dry land again!

The most popular diving course in the world! PADI Open Water Diver is the first level of PADI scuba certification that allows you to dive independently with a certified buddy on successful completion of the course.
The course includes classroom sessions, skills practice in confined water and 4 open water dives some of Timor’s prime dive sites, all under the guidance of one of our world class PADI Instructors. Because it is performance based, you get as much time as you need to practice your new skills prior to certification. On completion of the course you will be certified as a PADI Open Water Diver, this internationally recognized qualification is your ticket to dive the world through charters and resort diving, scuba equipment rentals and purchases and is the first step and will give you a good foundation to continue you dive education and experience new adventures in Timor and the rest of the world. It is the first step towards continuing education such as the PADI Advanced Open Water course and specialty diving programs which will refine your skills based on your interests.

Your adventure continues, The Advanced Open Water Course is the next big step after your Open Water Course and gives you the chance to sample some of diving’s most popular specialities whilst expanding your own range of dive skills.
The programs 2 core dives are the Deep Dive and Underwater Navigation Dive, whilst your further 3 elective dives can include a Night dive, Wreck dive, Naturalist dive Peak Performance Buoyancy, Underwater Photography or a Drift Dive to name just a few! PADI Advanced Open Water certification requires 5 dives, 5 knowledge reviews (no exam!) and can take as little as 2 days to complete ; on completion of the course you will be certified to dive to a maximum depth of 30m.

The course develops your knowledge and skills so that you will become a complete diver – someone who can look after themselves as well as others in the water by effectively performing diver assists and rescues, managing diving accident situations and giving first aid. The course is an important step in expanding your knowledge and experience as a diver, and we think that every diver should get to the level of Rescue Diver as it makes you completely self-sufficient in terms of rescuing yourself and others. This is where you get to play hero for few days practicing saving divers in need of help.

The PADI Divemaster certification allows you to kick start your career in scuba diving industry on the professional path.
Therefore it is important to know that this includes many responsibilities that should not be overlooked, organizing a serious training and recurrent evaluations are to your advantage.
